Welcome to my fourth grade class. I hope you are looking forward to the best year ever. This year my class will be self-contained, which means I have the privilege of teaching the same children all day. We will do all subjects in my room, and I am so excited about this. I love all school subjects, and I can't wait to get started. I am looking forward to greeting each of you on the first day of school, August 23. Get ready - here we go! We're back in the saddle again.
Announcements School suppliesPlease do not buy tons of extra school supplies. Our space is limited, and our needs are few. My supply list is:
map pencils crayons lots of notebook paper (at least four packages) pencils (at least 24) tissues (1 box) 2 pocket folders (any color) a three-ring binder - no trapper keepers please sturdy backpack Do not bring sharpies or markers of any kind. Please put your name on everything before you bring it to school. I also would like for you to bring a box of ziplock baggies - any size. You do not need scissors, glue, rulers, manila or construction paper. Those are already in the room for you. There may be some other things to bring, but for the first few days, we only need the bare necessities. Notes HomePlease check your child's take home folder each week for important announcements from our school.
